I love that story in scripture. In terms of mood, if a person is frequently down in the valley, it is a sign of deep wounds and depression.
But God reaches us even there and draws us up even from the darkest pit and places our feet on the rock.. Psalm 40:2. And not forgetting Psalm 103:4 and so many scriptures that cut through attacks.
