One of those “could-have-heard-a-pin-drop”moments…

Found it difficult to hold it together tonight as the inmates at Shotts sang the words of the song below alongside words read beautifully from Psalm 139. What a show they put on for “Prisoners’ Week” with its heart rending theme, “Out of sight, Out of mind.” May it not be so for these men, their families and victims of crime. Moving, funny, informative, astonishingly open, touches of true delicate creative beauty, an open door for the presence of the One who is grace and truth through which He came and moved in the midst. Unforgettable. I mean it. As long as I have a memory I will never forget it. “Please Lord make it so for me.” What a blessing from God these guys gave to the full house who attended.

I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough

Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up

Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?

Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know

[Chorus]

You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing

You say I am strong when I think I am weak

You say I am held when I am falling short

When I don’t belong, You say I am Yours

And I believe, I believe

What You say of me

I believe

[Verse 2]

The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me

In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity

[Chorus]

You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing

You say I am strong when I think I am weak

You say I am held when I am falling short

When I don’t belong, You say I am Yours

And I believe, I believe

What You say of me

I believe

God bless

    Amen sounds amazing Kenny .

Jesus died to set the captives, free to live under grace and spend eternity with our Saviour. Once we accept him we are prisoners no more.
